Pawnee Bills Museum

 

The Pawnee Bill Ranch was once the showplace of the world renowned Wild West Show entertainer, Gordon W. "Pawnee Bill" Lillie. Visitors can now tour Pawnee Bill and his wife, May's, 14 room mansion, fully furnished with their original belongings. Their dream home, completed in 1910, is filled with Lillie family memorabilia, photographs, original art work, and much more. The Ranch property also houses a museum with exhibits related to Pawnee Bill

 

Pawnee Bathhouse

 

This beautiful, historic 1939 WPA sandstone rock bath house overlooking a two acre fresh water pool with sandy beach, water slide, high dive, water trampoline, diving board and paddle boats is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. It is located at Pawnee Lake and is available year round for reunions, weddings and parties. The Pawnee Bath House is on the National Historic Register and was selected as Discover Oklahoma's Favorite Summer Destination for 2003.  Click here to download more information.

 

Pawnee Lake

 

Pawnee lake is located about 2 miles north of the main square.  The 250-acre lake has about 5 miles of shoreline which is dotted with developed and partially developed areas 5 sites with camping hookups. Other amenities and facilities include electricity, a group shelter, picnic areas, restrooms, bathhouse, swimming beach, swimming pool, water-skiing, educational pathways, 9-hole golf course, and grass airport.  The lake is purported to have some of the best hybrid bass fishing in the Midwest.
