City of Pawnee operatates the 1939 WPA sandstone rock bathhouse overlooks a two acre fresh water pool and features a sandy beach, water slide, high dive, water trampoline, diving board and paddle boats. The City also provides a place for golfer to play golf at its 9-hole Golf Course facility. The golf course features 2,923 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35 . The course rating is 70.0 and it has a slope rating of 114. Designed by Labron Harris, the Pawnee golf course opened in 1984. Charlie Bowen manages the course as the General Manager. Pawnee Lake is owned by the city and is the water supply and recreation lake. Recreation facilities include boat ramps, boat dock, several camping areas with electrical hookups, picnic areas, restrooms, swimming pool and bath house, and group shelters. Shoreline length is 4 miles. |
