The two-story bathhouse was originally constructed in 1939 by President Roosevelt’s Works Progress Administration (WPA). The Bathhouse is located at Pawnee Lake.  The structure is built from hand cut and coursed native stone.  The Bathhouse has an intricate system of stone steps and walls leading from the building to a swimming area below.
